Arising out of two recent projects, Intensive Rotational Grazing and Earth Press Project, Love Notes to Earth: Embedded is a site-specific land and text art, culminating in sound design (reading), video, social media presence and book. Ephemeral in nature, the act of imprinting messages into earth is akin to creating fossils in a publicly generated, socially engaged expression of love for the earth. Currently, in the research and development stage, the studio is actively researching printing methods, photographic opportunities, different environments and substrates, as well as developing the content to be printed in an ongoing collection of messages to earth.
