My favorite Theatre group performed an amazing spectacle this summer called Shahrazad. Double Edge Theatre is in Ashfield, Massachusetts and performs all over the world. This summer I designed a swimming/flying horse for their last scene to go with the sparkling palace.
November's parsimonious light is caught in fishing net at Double Edge Theatre

This week I started teaching a new set design session for the winter interns at Double Edge Theatre. The results are surprising, especially when the final product is not the sculpture itsef but the shadow it creates.
